Our Main Camp is situated in a large indigenous bushveld garden which has been created to attract birds. There is a central dining area with a bar and lounge area, a boma with a covered seating area area and a swimming pool. This camp is fenced and there is a raised look out point overlooking a waterhole.
This lodge is solar powered and the use of certain electrical equipment is not permitted ie. hairdryers. There is adequate lighting in and around the camp, there are plug points and a fan in each bungalow.
The Main Camp consists of four spacious one bedroom thatched bungalows with en-suite bathroom (shower only) and a private veranda.
The water is not suitable for drinking. We supply clean water for brushing teeth and also a 500ml of bottled water per guest per night. You are welcome to bring more of your own drinking water. We have a cash bar with a selection of drinks – local beers, cold drinks, bottled water and ice. No outside drinks are permitted in the public areas at Main Camp.
Meals are catered and dinner is compulsory when booking at the Main Camp. There are no self-catering facilities at this camp. Dinner is a substantial and tasty 1-course meal from a set menu. Starters and/or desserts can be added to the menu if required.
Breakfast is an optional add on, and complimentary morning coffee/tea is included in the accommodation rate.
