Massingir Safaris is situated on 8,000 hectares in the Massingir District of Mozambique. We offer a diverse landscape with Bushveld scrub, open savanna and magnificent trees. The diversity of the habitat gives you a fantastic opportunity to experience many different species of fauna and flora. In addition to the rich bird life we have approximately 250 buffalo and a number of zebra, wildebeest, kudu, nyala, impala, grey duiker, steenbok, vervet monkeys, baboons and various other wild animals.
We also have elephant, leopard and hyena from time to time.
From the Giriyondo Border Post:
Travelling from Giriyondo Border Post, the farm is 25 kilometres outside of Massingir Town on the road towards Chokwe (tar road). A ‘Massingir Safaris’ sign board will be on your right-hand side.
From Chokwe:
Travelling from Chokwe, the farm is 75 kilometres from the turnoff to Massingir (T-junction), and the ‘Massingir Safaris’ sign will be on your left.
